John Brown is questionable for Monday night, possibly with two hamstring injuries

As the Cardinals prepare for a rare prime-time game, they’re still not sure that they’ll have one of their better offensive players.

Receiver John Brown officially is questionable for the contest against the Ravens, with a hamstring injury. Brown was limited in practice on Thursday and Saturday, and he didn’t practice at all on Friday.

It’s possible that the more accurate designation for Brown is “hamstrings,” given that he may have an injury in both legs. Coach Bruce Arians suggests that the hamstring bothering Brown now is different from the hamstring that was bothering him last week.

“He had a little setback with his other leg, but last week he couldn’t play on Friday and he only caught 200 yards worth,” Arians said, via the team’s official website. “Hopefully it’s the same [against the Ravens].”

Brown is optimistic he’ll play; “I feel pretty good,” Brown said. “I’ll be ready to go.”

Brown has 497 yards receiving on the season, after generating 196 at Pittsburgh.

Tight end Darren Fells (shoulder) and linebacker Alex Okafor (calf) are out, and the rest of the Cardinals listed on the injury report are probable.
