The 2-4 Browns haven’t hit the wall, but their quarterback did Sunday.
Josh McCown was forced to scramble on third down early in the second quarter. McCown was forced of bounds inside the Rams’ 5-yard line and then couldn’t stop his momentum. McCown appeared to slip on some concrete, then crashed into a wall.
At least he braced himself before contact.
McCown appeared to hit his right elbow on the wall. TV cameras caught him on the sideline holding his elbow as the Browns kicked a field goal, but he was in the game the next time the Browns had the ball.
The Rams hold a 10-3 lead in the second quarter.
