Broncos could be getting DeMarcus Ware back

Broncos rookie pass rusher Shane Ray is out for a while with a knee injury, but veteran quarterback chaser DeMarcus Ware could be closing in on a return.

Ware, who left the win over the Raiders with back spasms, missed the pre-bye-week win at Cleveland. With some extra time to heal, Ware was able to practice Wednesday on a limited basis.

Also practicing for the Broncos on a limited basis on Wednesday were guard Evan Mathis (hamstring), tackle Ty Sambrailo (shoulder), receiver Emmanuel Sanders (shoulder), and cornerback Aqib Talib (ankle).

Fully practicing on Wednesday were safety Omar Bolden (foot), TE Owen Daniels (shoulder), T Ryan Harris (knee), LB Corey Nelson (knee), and RB Juwan Thompson (hamstring).

The 6-0 Broncos host the 6-0 Packers on NBC’s Sunday Night Football.
