The Seattle Seahawks had 10 players in for tryouts with the team on Monday including running back Isaiah Pead and defensive end Lawrence Okoye, per a league source.

Linebacker John Lotulelei (pictured) and tackle Jesse Davis were also brought back for workouts after spending time with the team in the past.

Running back Bryce Brown also worked for Seattle before being signed on Tuesday.

Pead and Okoye are familiar with the NFC West having played for the St. Louis Rams and San Francisco 49ers, respectively.

Lotulelei made the roster out of training camp in 2013 and appeared in two games before being waived. He was claimed on waivers by the Jacksonville Jaguars and spent the last three seasons with the club before being released earlier this month.

Davis was in training camp with the Seahawks before an injury slowed his progress. He was released in the cuts down to 75.

Also working out for Seattle were guard Taylor Boggs, defensive end Keith Browner, guard Kadeem Edwards, defensive end Efe Obada and defensive end DeAngelo Tyson.

  1. Better look very hard at Davis, Boggs, and Edwards because that offensive line really, really, really needs some help–not so much with run blocking because they have improved there.

But the pass blocking is getting desperate. If it’s not improved, it gets less and less likely that Wilson will make it to the end of the season. It’s just a matter of time.

  2. The hawks just can’t pass up trying out and tinkering with the bottom half of their roster. They’ve found many gems this way And are something like 50% of their players are 5th Rd and later which includes around 20 undrafted free agents..

  3. Signing Pead wpuld be interesting, considering he knows some of the Rams offense and special teams responsibilities. If he signs w/the practice squad, my thinking is Seattle thinks their making a 2nd half run at the division and will need info on the Rams to beat them…
But the Rams offense is not that complex/good. So Pead my be out…
