Sammy Watkins posts-deletes criticism of “loser” critics

Unlike two weeks ago when he complained about getting enough touches, Sammy Watkins was able to delete a regrettable message.

Of course, this one was on in the internet, which means it will never go away.

Via Jay Skurski of the Buffalo News, Watkins mocked fans who were criticizing him for being injured by calling them “losers” with “little jobs” in a since-deleted Instagram post because they dared question him.

Aside from being a terrible idea, and being executed poorly (punctuation is underrated), Watkins’ frustration is understandable.

He can’t control being injured any more than he can control the number of times his quarterbacks throw to him, and fans browbeating him for that is in poor taste too.

But what he can do is handle each situation with a modicum of human decency, and that’s something that the Bills’ training staff won’t be able to help him with.
