Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has a foot injury.
Mike Klis of 9 News in Denver reports that Manning is expected play Sunday against the Chiefs, so the injury is apparently not too serious. But it’s serious enough that he’ll be listed on the injury report.
Manning popped up on the injury report last week with a right shoulder injury. He suffered the foot injury on Sunday in Indianapolis but did not have to leave the game.
In addition to the Broncos wanting to win a division game and further secure their AFC West lead, it’s a big Sunday for Manning personally: With three yards, Manning will break Brett Favre’s record for career passing yards. And if the Broncos win, Manning will surpass Favre as the quarterback who has started the most winning games in NFL history.
