Linval Joseph has been one of the best defensive tackles in the league this season, but the Vikings will have to deal with the Seahawks without his help this Sunday.

Joseph has been ruled out with a foot injury that kept him from practicing all week. Tom Johnson and Sharrif Floyd will start at defensive tackle with Joseph doing what he can to help them as another set of eyes on the sideline.

“Of course it’s going to be frustrating. I’m just glad I can support my team and use my eyes and be a coach,” Joseph said, via Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press. “Right now, I’m doing the best I can do and I can’t wait to get back when the time is right.”

Joseph won’t be the only defensive starter out this week. Safety Andrew Sendejo will miss the game due to a knee injury, which means Antoine Exum will remain in the starting lineup after filling in for Harrison Smith last week. Smith is questionable for this week, but he participated in practice all week.

Linebacker Anthony Barr also drew a questionable tag, but said that he expects to be in the lineup as the Vikings try to remain a game up on the Packers in the NFC North.
