Rishard Matthews out, Mike Pouncey questionable for Dolphins

Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill wasn’t happy with the way Jets safety Calvin Pryor reacted after drilling wide receiver Rishard Matthews in last week’s Jets win and his mood probably won’t improve any by playing without Matthews this weekend.

Matthews has been ruled out for Sunday’s game with the Ravens because of the injured ribs he suffered when Pryor hit him during an attempt to make a catch. Wide receiver Kenny Stills is listed as questionable after hurting his ankle in practice on Thursday.

With Matthews out, first-round pick DeVante Parker should get a heavy dose of playing time for the second straight week. Parker had four catches for 80 yards last week after having four for 49 yards coming into the game.

Center Mike Pouncey is questionable with the foot injury he suffered against the Jets. The center was limited in practice on Thursday and Friday.

  1. I hope you get healthy before we smear you again on our way to repeat the superbowl blowout from last year. It was not as close as the score.

In spite of Tom being one year younger than Peyton, he plays like he is even younger than TANNEHILL, with his quarterbacks sneeks and deadly accurent short passing game which is the envy of the NFL.

SORRY but be ready to lose, now that the officials admit missing calls, we might fight them in Federal Court

  2. As a Dolphins fan I hate to admit it,
but while all those above remarks are true,
its gotta suck for Tom Brady
to best one of the best ever to play his position
yet go home at night and not be the head of his household.

  3. Tommy may be younger, accurate and very talented but his achievements will always be linked somehow to cheating. Sucks for Tommy “NFL Golden Boy” Brady. I’d rather be a Dolphin and suck but be honest at doing that. LOL

  4. really hope Parker makes this game his breakout game. Guy’s been in the roster-cellar for too long, Tannehill has needed a wide-catch-radius WR all year to catch the passes he has to fling out of the pocket before getting smothered.

  5. Aye djscottyb, like you’d ever say no to her!

  6. Oh great…A psychotic Pats fan. Sadly they don’t realize that fans from 31 other teams despise them and can’t wait for Brady’s career to end Joe Theisman style.

  7. In a lost season why not play Parker and even Matt Hazel? The bigger concern is without Pouncey and Fox still in there, Tannehill will be running for his life and won’t get the ball to anyone even if we had Jerry Rice!

Wow, you really are a confused fin”fan”! So many Dolphins’ cheats: Dirty Don Shula illegally signing contracts and forcing painkillers on his players to win a tainted super bowl and years beyond; Shula using up to 15 guys in the huddle for years after it was made illegal; PEDs; Tapegate; Mudgate….
And what have you got on the Pats?: the league reinterpreting self-contradicting camera placement rules against the Pats when the Jets complained despite the fact that in the preceding game when the Jets did it to the Pats the league said it was ok so the Pats simply didn’t stop either; and of course (as the NFL admitted in court) no evidence of Brady deflating balls nor evidence of any unnatural deflation. But hate is all got left I guess…
