The Colts are rapidly running out of quarterbacks. Fortunately, they have a volunteer.
Punter Pat McAfee has offered his services to the team, thinking he can be a larger than life passer.
Of course, he may want to re-think that, given the carnage which would allow it to be a possibility entering Week 16.

Starting quarterback Andrew Luck’s still out with a lacerated kidney, and 40-year-old backup Matt Hasselbeck is “beat up from the feet up,” and it’s unclear when he’ll practice this week.
That leaves recently acquired Charlie Whitehurst, since emergency quarterback Griff Whalen was placed on injured reserve Monday and practice squader Alex Tanney was signed by the Titans.
McAfee was the emergency quarterback prior to Whalen, and has thrown good fake punt passes in games before (though they were dropped).
“He throws pretty good,” Colts coach Chuck Pagano said via Mike Wells of ESPN, apparently joking but perhaps not. “We’ll get him ready, we’ll give him a couple plays. Go wildcat and direct snap, single-wing. We’re putting together some stuff right now.”
It might not be long before it’s necessary, and McAfee might re-think his choice to volunteer.
