The Packers finished last Sunday’s loss to the Cardinals without either of their starting offensive tackles, which didn’t do the team any favors when it came to trying to stop an Arizona pass rush that wound up with nine sacks and two forced fumbles they turned into touchdowns.
One of those tackles was back on the field at Wednesday’s practice. Right tackle Bryan Bulaga was practicing after being forced out of last Sunday’s game with an ankle injury. Left tackle David Bakhtiari didn’t play at all against Arizona because of his own ankle issue and did not return to action to start the week of preparations for Green Bay’s winner takes the NFC North game against the Vikings.
In addition to Bulaga, the Packers also got cornerback Sam Shields on the field. Shields has missed two games due to a concussion and his return to practice bodes well for having him in the lineup on Sunday night.
Defensive tackle B.J. Raji went down with a concussion early in the loss to the Cardinals and did not practice Wednesday.
