University of California quarterback Jared Goff is expected to declare his intentions to enter the NFL Draft on Thursday, according to Joe Schad of ESPN.com.

And once he has, Goff could very likely be the top quarterback prospect in the 2016 NFL Draft.

Goff will declare his intentions at a 10 a.m. PT press conference on Thursday morning.

Goff passed for 4,719 yards, 43 touchdowns and 13 interceptions as a junior at Cal this season. He had at least two touchdowns in every game he played this season. Goff twice had six touchdowns in a game, against Oregon State in November and in Tuesday’s 55-35 victory over Air Force in the Armed Forces Bowl.

In three season at Cal, Goff threw for 12,200 yards with 96 touchdowns and 30 interceptions.
