The Rams have requested permission to interview Browns offensive coordinator John DeFilippo, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday.
The Rams fired offensive coordinator Frank Cignetti on Dec. 7 after promoting him last February. Rob Boras replaced him, and Rapoport reported that Boras may keep the job.
The 2015 Rams finished 32nd in yards per game.
DeFilippo, 37, served three years as the Raiders’ quarterbacks coach before being hired by the Browns last January.
