Texans defensive end J.J. Watt and Vikings running back Adrian Peterson were the only unanimous selections on this season’s Associated Press All-Pro team.

The Associated Press revealed today that its panel of 50 voters all chose Watt and Peterson, making them the only players to be named on every All-Pro ballot. Two other players, Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly and Steelers receiver Antonio Brown, were named on 49 of 50 ballots.

Few players are ever chosen as unanimous All-Pros, but it’s becoming old hat for Watt and Peterson: They were also the only unanimous selections for the 2012 season.

Although it’s only his fifth NFL season, this is actually Watt’s third time as a unanimous pick. Last year Watt and Rob Gronkowski were the only two unanimous picks.

In Watt and Peterson, we’re witnessing a couple of future Hall of Famers who are unequivocally among the best players at their positions.
