Randall Cobb sends Washington into offseason with Kirk Cousins’ catch phrase

The good news, for many, is that the exit of Washington from the postseason means the end of the “You Like That!” mantra, at least until next season, if not forever. The bad news is that the saying didn’t go quietly.

Via Scott Allen of the Washington Post, Packers receiver Randall Cobb mocked the Kirk Cousins catch phrase after Sunday’s win, shouting it multiple times toward reporters while heading to the locker room.

The table-turning taunt from the Packers isn’t surprising, given that many thought Washington would find a way to beat a Green Bay team that had lost six of 10 games, thanks to a struggling, sputtering offense. But the “How Dare You Expect Us To Continue To Stink!” mindset can be strong, when a team finally decides to no longer stink.

For at least one day, the Packers didn’t stink. Whether they can continue to not stink on Saturday night, in a place where they lost by 30 less than three weeks ago, remains to be seen.
