Steelers rule out Antonio Brown

Getty Images

Pacman Jones owes Antonio Brown an apology.

Brown, the Steelers’ All-Pro wide receiver, has been ruled out for Sunday’s playoff game against the Broncos.

Jones claimed that Brown was faking being hurt after he took a hit to the head from Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict in Saturday’s playoff game. Jones said he would apologize to Brown if Brown didn’t play on Sunday, so now Jones should apologize.

Brown suffered a concussion on the hit and has been in the concussion protocol all week. It appeared unlikely that he would play, as he wasn’t even cleared for light work yesterday.

The loss is a significant blow to the Steelers’ offense, as Brown is their biggest playmaker. Pittsburgh is also dealing with a Ben Roethlisberger shoulder injury and a DeAngelo Williams foot injury, so the Steelers’ offense is at much less than 100 percent as they head into Denver and face one of the league’s best defenses.

  1. Pacman Jones should be forced to go back to college and get a real education.

That should be his punishment for rambling about such stupidity.

A classless, punk, who now looks even more pathetic and stupid.

Nice Teeth, btw. Looks like someone picked up some scrap metal out of a junkyard.

  2. Burfict took out the killer B’s… I’m still in disbelief that ONE PLAYER is a absolute terror… First Bell, then Big Ben, now Brown… AND even had the (what looked like) game ending INT… It’s a shame he’s such a piece of trash of a person….

  3. As a Steeler fan I just don’t see how they win this game. Unless they get the Peyton from the Chiefs game earlier this year the season is all but over.

  4. I can almost write the future apology now. 1) he will not say sorry 2) he will deflect his wrongful words by misdirection towards something else

” I’d like to wish Antonio Brown well in his recovery. He wouldn’t have gotten hurt if their coach wasn’t on the field.”

  5. I hate the Steelers…..but I also hate to see things like this happen.

And yeah, I’m looking forward to seeing Jones’ apology. Please make sure there is video of it, we all want to see it.

  6. PACman wears his own football jersey to strip clubs and everybody clowns on him !

  7. But he winked and Academy Award or Oscar and faking it…..Pacman still won’t apologize, he’ll make some other outlandish claim.

  8. Somehow, the significance of “Pacman’s” opinion, apology and overall philosophy on life — attained far greater importance than the actual merit-based worth attached to same.

  9. Hey PacMan, you sociopathic piece of human garbage, let’s hear your “eloquently” stated apology.

  10. I feel exactly as bad for Brown as Steelers fans did last season for AJ.Green when Mike (head shot) Mitchell knocked him out of the Playoff game.

  11. Its going to be a blowout for the Broncos with or without him. The Steelers simply aren’t that good.

Besides it doesn’t matter if he played. The Steelers can’t win any titles without PED cheating or paid off refs anyway, everyone knows that. Why would this year have been any different?

  12. The Steelers front seven will stop the run and make Peyton Manning throw the ball. It will be tough, but Steelers will still win.

  13. Lol I wouldn’t put it past pacman to see him say “they ruled him out to prove a point to me”. His ego is that big.

  14. Its going to be a blowout for the Broncos with or without him. The Steelers simply aren’t that good.
    ————————–
Except for that time when the Steelers beat Denver this season.

  15. I can’t see the Steelers winning without Brown.

I’m not saying the Pats deliberately tried to avoid the Steelers by not trying hard for the #1 seed, because I don’t buy that all.

But, this is exactly the reason why you don’t try and manipulate your seeding rank in the last week of the regular season.

If you have a bye week you know that a lot can happen in the wildcard game to affect the team you play in the divisional round.

I’d rather play Pittsburgh at home without Antonio Brown and Big Ben with a dinged up shoulder than Alex Smith and the red hot Chiefs.

At least Manning won’t go 1 and done this season, then.

  16. I am a loyal Steelers fan and can say I honestly will take this news in exchange of takining the trailer trash Bengals out of the playoffs. As for the rest of the league, you are welcome. Now you don’t have to deal with the dirtiest, trashiest team in football as the Bengals will be where they have been for the last 25 years….at a strip club.

  17. So when is the classless Pacman or the even more classless Burfict going to apologize???
Not holding my breath it will be coming from that CLASSLESS TEAM!!!!

@TeeHeeLOLatPatsHaters….. If I was you I would worry more about what the chiefs are gonna do to Brady then commenting on the Steelers!
    ————————–
Like what? Not score an offensive TD til late in the 3rd quarter. Or get 4 turnovers in one half and not be able to score a TD?

  20. @TeeHeeLOLatPatsHaters….. If I was you I would worry more about what the chiefs are gonna do to Brady then commenting on the Steelers!

    —-
You mean lose to Brady and the rest of his team? Why would I be worried about that? 😉

  21. Pig Ben is the one that should be apologizing for that throw, dude was wide open on a twenty yard route and he throws it 10 feet over his head. Ridiculous

  22. Both teams played dirty, both teams consistently went over the line and showed horrendous sportsmanship. The Bengals lost and it looks like Pittsburgh leaves that game deeply wounded.

Felt like neither team deserved to win and looks like that will be the net result.

  23. Brown is by far the best WR in the league. He will be missed on Sunday. If Ben is playing, be prepared to see Wheaton and Bryant tear Denver apart. They are both great WRs too. Although Brown is the Steelers best player, If I had to choose him or Big Ben to play it would have to be Ben.

  24. I wonder if Ben got “injured” thinking about Brown’s injuries? 🙂

I bet he’s trying on a body cast right now to make sure it looks good for the cameras when he talks about how tough he is playing through his latest “injury”

    🙂

Pacman Jones you better suck it up and issue an apology as promised.

    ————————————————————

    it’s never ever gonna happen

I can’t believe anybody doubted it was real after seeing that play, Brown got speared in the face which yanked his head a full 90 degrees to the side, was clearly out before he hit the turf, did the dead fish bounce and laid without the least bit of movement for at least 30 seconds… it was like a heavyweight boxer getting a free shot at a guy to the temple

you had to be a full up delusional fanboy t not believe that Brown was really hurt and Burfict deserves worse than 3 games 700k lost wages and 500k team fine…

the guy is a cancer and a menace and it’s a bizarre mystery that caches continue to employ guys that just tear down the team… Burfict singlehandedly blew the Bengals playoff, injured a number of star players and he and their staff should be fired for it.

  26. WHO CARES WHAT PACMAN SAYS if we all stop talking about him, then he wont be relevant at all. WE add to much to these clowns fuel! You telling me that one of your NFL co player got hit in the head and all you can say is he’s faking it, PACMAN GO AWAY!

  27. Steelers all in on the act, after getting away win no fines for players/coaches. Don’t want to expose themselves further for getting away with what they do.

No apology needed Jones. Many peeped the wink and smile. That’s the great thing about DVR.

  28. The Steelers can win this game if the defense plays their best game of the season. If I’m Tomlin, I put the game in the hands of my O-line and the 2 young RB’s. On D, he needs to press the WR’s at the LOS and make Manning hold the ball. The Donkeys aren’t exactly a juggernaut on offense either. Looks like a lot of people have already given up on them. Remember, they’re playing with house money and play much better in the underdog role. Ya never know.

  29. Steelers now have little to no chance Sunday against Denver. With a winged duck QB, the Steelers better hope for plenty of snow and freezing temps and further hope its defense can intercept Manning 4 times.

  30. This game doesn’t change the fact that the Bungles’ epic season failure will forever be part of their legacy.

Hysterical & embarrassing for that joke of a franchise.

  31. I can hear it now… “I’m sorry he got hurt but it was his coaches fault.”

And that’s if a apologizes at all, which I doubt.

A suspension should be in order for him, he’s reckless, most likely deliberately so.

    Pacman Jones we’re waiting…

Signed: (I have no dog in this race)

Dude, he was lucky he could even attempt to throw it that far down the field. Or did you miss Ben’s OWN injury earlier in the game? Or the fact he hadn’t played in any of the previous 3 or 4 series?

  33. I hope Roger adds 1 game to Burfict’s suspension. +

He took our best player out of the game, he needs to sit as many games as AB is out in addition to the three games for repeated attacks

  34. Don’t worry. Cody Wallace will take out Aqib Talib to even it out. Just like he did with David Bruton and tried to do with Burfict.

  35. Everyone saw this coming. The Bengals did the Broncos work for them pretty much because with Brown out the Steelers offense isn’t as lethal. I hope the Steelers win, but I can’t see it happening.

  36. By the way, not a fan of either team, but during the course of events of the past two weeks, I have lost all respect for Bengals fans. Sure Steelers fans can be annoying, but Bengals fans in the stadium and online have been trying to do their best Eagles fans impression.

Are Burfict and Pacman dancing somewhere celebrating the injury like Shazier and Blake did with Bernard?

No that was after Burfict took out Bell, funny how Bengals fans dont seem to remember that!!

  43. Yep, Pac-Man Jones is right .. he’s faking it! It’s all just and elaborate ploy to stick it to the Bengals. Antonio Brown is so dedicated to winning that Oscar that he is going the extra mile and missing his teams most important game of the season to date.

  44. Palmer, Rivers, and Huber to only mention a few taken out by Steeler cheap shots. That doesn’t excuse the Bengals either, just sayin.

  45. Lol, Playoff Peyton is still the QB over there and the Steelers D is actually pretty good against the run, unlike San Diego. Antonio Brown is a luxury, but the Steelers don’t actually need him to beat Peyton in 2016.

  46. Sounds like you’re describing Mike Mitchell.
Btw, only 1 of the 3 hits you mentioned were illegal I any way. Keep whining though. I’m sure if Cincy cut Burfict, the Steelers would be first in line to pick him up.

Burfict took out the killer B’s… I’m still in disbelief that ONE PLAYER is a absolute terror… First Bell, then Big Ben, now Brown… AND even had the (what looked like) game ending INT… It’s a shame he’s such a piece of trash of a person….

  47. Can’t fake a concussion, can you “Pac Man”? This is Burpy [Burfict]’s fault. To just take a cheap shot at a defenseless guy (be it with your shoulder, head or whatever intentionally) is just bush-league. #NoRespectForBurpy

  48. All you steeler trash looking for an apology can want on. Did the bengals get an apology for the dirty hits on Palmer, Rivers, Huber, and Gio? Nope but we did see a lot of high fives and dancing on the steeler sideline. Kick rocks steeler trash!

  49. This makes Burfict’s suspension seem even more laughable. Repeat offender costs a team a starter for their next playoff game and the suspension is 3 lousy regular season games? Shouldn’t the suspension length have waited for the severity of the injury to have been known?

  50. HAHA…says the apparent fan of a team that has been involved in how many NFL scandals, a murderer on the team, and now a DE that prepares for the game by smoking synthetic marijuana or, according to Chris Carter, PCP. Hopefully, get their rear ends handed to them by the Chiefs this weekend….

Even though it won’t happen for reasons I already stated, I actually hope the Steelers do cheat their way to a win over the Broncos. What a great matchup for the World Champion Patriots in the AFC Championship game! 🙂

I expect the Patriots to beat the Chiefs in a good one and then next weekend they will roll AND I MEAN ROLL the Steelers in Foxboro.

I hope they play a good song or two in Tomlin’s headset while his team is getting crushed!

    🙂

  51. Bronco fan here. I can’t speak for all of us, but I would rather play your best, win or lose. Just a few weeks ago, Brown torched Denver’s secondary for nearly 190 yards. This is a huge loss. Good luck, may the best team win.

  52. Any team that hands Joey Porter a game ball for the stunt he pulled this weekend deserves the beatdown that they’re going to get in Denver this weekend.

    Broncos by 40

  53. I am far from a Steeler fan, but that sucks. This guy is the pillar of the league right now at his position.

Pacman Jones has never said anything remotely intelligent, so take no credence in any of his words.

  54. Yeah Pac Man, you’re real credible, he was so clearly faking. We believe you about that wink too.

I guess when you know you can’t beat the Steelers you do the next best thing and try and make it easier for the next team to do it.

Bitter loser Bungals fans here telling him not to man up and apologize are pretty hilarious.

Porter was never given a game ball.

  62. The steelers don’t give out game balls to individuals. Only game ball given all year was to the team after they beat cinci in cinci.
Rumors about porter getting a game ball are false. Made by a bengals reporter

    _____________________________________

Oh, we remember that he got up fast and ran across the field. I don’t recall him grabbing his teammate and dancing on the Steelers logo in the middle of the field.

And yes, Burfict has mental issues (for real), and Pitt’s dirty play and style caught up to them. It’s not fair to Brown, he’s amazing and had no part in any of the crap that has gone on between these teams over past few years, but this is the kind of risk you run pushing the edge on someone who isn’t all there to begin with…

…now imagine if Burfict didn’t slow down and used his helmet on Brown instead of his shoulder pad.

  65. I must admit, I LOVE that the Bengals are living in the Steelers heads. The officials may have given you that game based on their one sided officiating, but the Bengals physically PUMMELED Pitt. Vontaze Burfict is your worst nightmare. If Denver cannot mop up the beaten pulp that is the remainder of this Steelers team, then they don’t deserve to be there. Once again, the Bengals and Steelers manage to knock each other out of the playoffs. No rivalry in the NFL is even close to this one. Oh, and by the way, if Vontaze’s suspension is upheld I guarantee that the league will make certain that Cincy has to play Pittsburgh in one of the games he is out. BOOK IT!!!!!!

  66. Like what? Not score an offensive TD til late in the 3rd quarter. Or get 4 turnovers in one half and not be able to score a TD?
    ————–

To be fair, the Texans have a better D than the Pats.

  67. Look at all the classless disgraceful Bengal and other fans expressing happiness over the injury to the best WR in the league. I guess you are all afraid of what the Steelers would do if they had all their horsepower on the field.

So the mountain got higher to climb but you still have to play the game. This is where players show what they are made of, like Todman and Fitz did last week. I would also expect some trick/gadget plays by Tomlin.

So since the Steelers have no chance to win, we can all sit back, relax and watch the game. What will people say if the Steelers do win??

  68. They are playing against Pedton Manning though who barely beat the pathetic Chargers. Believe me…the Steelers will still win.

  69. If you use straight logic this week to pick against the spread you pick:

Denver – due to Ben’s health and AB going out.

KC – due to Patriots recent play, injuries and the fact KC are rolling.

Arizona – due to Green Bay offensive talent being reduced.

Seattle – beacause they are coming in hot and Carolina haven’t really played top talent much of the season and gave up a ton of points toward the end of the year.

I’m taking the Steelers, Patriots, Green Bay and Carolina.

I think the Steelers lose but beat the spread. Denver just isn’t that good and Manning could throw some picks.

I think the Patriots are better then they showed in the last few weeks of the season and KC hasn’t played anyone great. Plus Tom Brady.

I think Green Bay loses but beats the spread. They are good enough to stay in the game this time.

I think Carolina is just a better team then Seattle and have been under the radar after not going undefeated, which is perfect for them.

Yeah, because he beat him so badly the two times they matched up this year. The only decent game AB had against Cincy was when Jones didn’t play, and we had Iloka also out of the secondary. =======================================

Hey Ravfor life, it was good night for you a few months ago !

  75. @holeinone09 – agreed that anyone celebrating or happy with Brown getting hurt and out for this game should shut up and go away…the fans throwing stuff at Big Ben last weekend was horrendous and disgraceful.

But, there is a feeling of “live by the sword, die by the sword” in how Pittsburgh has conducted themselves, particularly against Cincy. Lot of headshots and celebrating of those hits (Shazier/Blake on Bernard, Mike Mitchell after the Eifert and AJ Green KOs, that linebacker after the cheap shot on the Punter…….). NONE of it justifies things that Burfict does, he’s as dirty as it gets, but you can’t expect to play the way Pitt does, carry themselves the way they do and not expect some idiot to ratchet it up to a similar or higher level.

Unfortunately for Brown and the NFL in general, that’s what happened here. Action/Reaction. No winners, lot of losers and many people to blame all around.

  76. I think this ices Burfict the criminal’s 3 game suspension being upheld. I am sure the NFL is pleased that the best WR in the league won’t be televised this weekend because of a criminal element. One day next year, Burfict the criminal will get his come-uppance, bank on it.

  77. A PR firm could draft for him the standard apology that celebrities and politicians use, which technically qualifies as an apology but really isn’t: “I apologize to anyone who may have been offended by my actions, as they do not reflect who I am.”

  78. Paging Dr. Pacman Jones, M.D….. Dr Jones !? …
we need your second opinion on that non-concussion
diagnosis that you so forcefully put forth.

What a scummy Trio of dirtbags – Pacman, Bufict
and the idiot Gilberry who really escalated things
and got away scott free .

  79. If anything comes from Pacman, it will be a non-apology statement written by an educated PR person full of legalese words. It will go on to say what a great person he is, helps old ladies cross the street, rescues puppies and kittens, helps fight ISIL, helps build churches, etc.

  80. Ok, so the Steelers will definitely lose the game. Looks like the Bengals did beat the Steelers in essence this season by destroying their all-star lineup throughout the year. (Ben twice hurt, Bell forever hurt, Brown hurt for playoffs)

Hypocrite much? Like Mike Cheapshot Mitchell on AJ last year? Burfict has never been in trouble with the law. He is your worst nightmare though.

  84. Burfict is to the Steelers what Pollard was to the Patriots but at least with Burfict he hurt his own team as much as his opponent.

  85. Shaking my head. A Grammy award is for music not acting. You sound foolish.
That’s as dumb as a screen door on a battleship

  86. I didn’t think he was faking it… but I have to admit, I was one of the wait and see crowd. After seeing the post-game video and pics of him smiling walking off the field, I had some doubts about the severity of the hit and his injury.

    Welp… I was wrong. Sorry he’s out.

  87. Tired of the Steelers homers and their hypocrisy and excuses, hopefully Broncos sets single game sack record on fatso Ben. Shazier dancing when Bernard was down sums up the steelers

  88. Any misfortune that falls on the Steelers is a good thing. I’m forced to root for Forehead this weekend and not many teams could make me do that. Pittsburgh does.

  89. As the season winds down and the draft is getting closer, the Bengals are a good reminder to teams that don’t consider character when they pick players. The Steelers do. The only reason the Steelers are still playing and the Bengals are sitting home is because one team doesn’t consider character as much as the other. Maybe Mike Brown needs to retire, although Steelers’ fans are happy he hasn’t.

  90. Shazier was not celebrating the injury, he was celebrating the ruling that it was a fumble. He was talking and gesturing to his teammates before the call and then celebrated after it was ruled a fumble recovery. How bout sleazebag Burfict stomping over Ben and celebrating after he was hurt?

  91. At this point, Steelers have nothing to lose Sunday, since of course they are out-manned and over-matched, and have no chance to win. They can play with reckless abandon. Let’s see who steps up.

  92. Yeah where you at now YACK MAN! Wheres that apology. All talk and no action. I thought AB supposably winked at you. Yeah it never happen, you fraud. Thought you guaranteed he would be on the field. Your a disgrace to the game jones.

  93. The Steelers have been victims of some cheap shots but they have taken some cheap shots as well. Shazier hit on Gio Bernard and then probably the worst shot I have seen this season is the Cody Wallace hit on Broncos S David Bruton. That IDIOT Wallace came barrelling in and threw his 300 + lbs to make helmet to helmet contact with Bruton who was looking down at the time and didn’t even see him coming! Didn’t even get a suspension for that vicious hit that happened after the whistle!!! I also read that Shazier won’t even get as much as a fine! Unbelievable!!!

  94. I’m sure Ben will heal miraculously and be able to play. The guy is such a Diva. Every time he gets hurt it’s like the worst injury ever….but then is able to play like it was no big deal. Such a drama queen….

  95. “Tired of the Steelers homers and their hypocrisy and excuses”. This sums it up for me too. I guess no one remembers when Steelers safety Mike Mitchell plowed our Tyler Eifert with a dirty hit that kept him out for 2.5 games. Including a close loss to the Broncos that could’ve gotten the Bengals a BYE week. The Bengals are just giving what they’ve been getting for years from the Steelers. Non-AFCN fans just don’t know what’s been going on.

You Steelers fans kill me. Our starting QB out = “no excuses”. Your WR being out = “waaah! our season is over”.

  97. @weegiethompson

Yes, Shazier also celebrated on the sideline after they reversed the call. That’s what the CBS broadcast caught very clearly. That’s all well and good, it’s the way guys are in the league today.

But he also celebrated before the reversal in the middle of the field while Bernard was down and he wasn’t alone. And it’s not the first time Pitt has been outwardly happy and revelatory while the competition was hurt as a result of a borderline play.

100% honestly don’t recall Burfict celebrating after the Ben sack. Do recall him stepping over (what is stomping over exactly?) him with the ball. Nothing wrong with that, if the ball had been moving one tiny bit you could get a reversal and a touchdown. Seem to recall him going right to the sideline and being composed in doing so. Open to being proven wrong on that.

  98. Compared to the posters on this board, he most assuredly does feel like a real man. PacMan will apologize, it just won’t mean anything.

I bet Vontaze Burfict feels like a real man this morning.

  100. The Broncos luck continues. With key players hurt, the Broncos have a strong advantage. The Broncos should send a thank you card to Burfict. If the Broncos do not win, they are posers. Still, the game must be played. The Broncos could come out flat and PM could throw picks. The Steelers still have a capable offense even with injuries.

  101. Ok, so the Steelers will definitely lose the game. Looks like the Bengals did beat the Steelers in essence this season by destroying their all-star lineup throughout the year. (Ben twice hurt, Bell forever hurt, Brown hurt for playoffs)

——————————————————The only kind of wins they can get in playoff games! They have the right players for this type of win too.

  102. Love, love, love me some Steeler Hypocrites.

Slinging the words criminal, dirty and cheap. Let me remind you of Mitchell’s head shot on AJ that took him out of the playoffs last year. How about Mitchell’s head shot on Eifert (flagged) that cost him 3 games, and a chance for the 1 seed? I could
reach back for more, steeler fan knows the score – if I remember right, you call it “Steeler Ball”.

In the past Bengals would take it as the Steelrs slapped them around. Appears those days are over, giving it right back. Bengals served up a big ol’ cup of Steeler Ball and now who’s crying.

It’s just football. I can promise you that as a Steeler fan I’m not THAT upset. I have a wife, a kid, and a mortgage. WAY more worried about that. Maybe you have different priorities, though.

  104. Pacman”s interview just showed the blinded stupidity of some of the self-centered players in the NFL. His interview was an embarrassment to the class players on the Bengals team, he should be held to his BS about apology and the same interviewer should have him back for this. Packman is so self-consumed he won’t remember any of his comments just as he does not take accountability of his stupidity on the field led to an easy field goal for the Steeler’s.

Ah so the narrative changes (predictably) from “he was faking it! omg he winked!” to “yeah but look what YOUR guys did!” Uh huh. Way to cover those behinds, chums. And please, spare me the making excuses for Eifert, that big-game fader does a fine job of taking himself out of games that really matter.

Your comments are almost as smart as what this genius had to say a few days ago:

It’s pretty clear in slow mo Burfict barely brushed up against the head of Brown. Just goes to show how far announcers narratives go in instilling big game moments into people’s head. Brown stayed down long enough to get the flag, but was then ready to get back up before he realized folks thought he was nearly killed. Lame. But with the pro Steelers media, they’ll always get away with it.
    ——————————————–

Yeah, it’s all the creation of the pro-Steelers media now, isn’t it?

  107. Who cares what Jones says or doesn’t say. He’s a POS anyway. My thoughts are with AB and hope that he can get healthy. Too bad we are left with wobbly wheels on our cart, but we somehow beat the Cardinals with Landry Jones, so who knows?

Here we go Steelers, here we go.

  108. Nighty night, Stealers.
Bengals only team man enough to go toe to toe with your own dirty play. Can’t wait for next season and that soft fat QB of yours.

Actually this is true. If Green had Ben throwing to him, he probably would be right up there with ABs numbers. See what I did there? 🙂

  111. I’m a denver fan and my opinion on the hit on brown was awesome! ! It only looks wrong in slow motion so let it go. It was to fast to stop. This will be a easy win for denver. Healthy defense for denver this time.

So you’re saying the Bengals ARE dirty. That soft fat QB owns your azz. I can’t believe you posted this. SMH. Even with internet anonymity, it took some real stupid to click submit on that one.

Since Ben became the starter, the Bengals have beat the Steelers 7 times. Ben under center has beaten the Bengals 17.

Since 2010, the record is 10-3 in the Steelers’ favor.

The stupid. It burns. Actually I agree. The hit Wallace put on your soft safety only looks bad in super slow motion. Stop complaining and moaning and move on.

  116. He still hasn’t apologized to Bengals fans for costing us the game, so don’t hold your breath.

And I hope Brown is okay, but lets not forget the Bengals had to overcome losing Green in the playoffs last year thanks to one of Mike Mitchel’s many dirty hits.

Are Burfict and Pacman dancing somewhere celebrating the injury like Shazier and Blake did with Bernard?

    ************************************************************************************

Did you even watch the play? They were celebrating the fumble and the TD that they were robbed of — there was nothing ambiguous about it.

Also, of all the people on the Steelers defense that might celebrate something like an injury, Shazier is one of the last. The guy has has a pretty serious demeanor and tends to be super quiet. If it was Mike Mitchell, it’d at least be conceivable, but it wasn’t.

  118. I doubt Antonio Brown cares whether he receives an apology from Pacman Jones for his constant babbling since the game. It would be more fitting for Jones to go unsigned next season. Hard to understand why any team would want his kind of toxicity.

  119. The Bengals are a disgrace to the NFL.
Marvin Lewis is lucky he works for the cheapest owner in the league and Bengals fans are stupid enough to believe all of the Pacman clown show.

  120. I thought the Bills and Patriots had a pretty solid rivalry until I started reading some these posts.

Steelers and Bengals fans some of you aren’t taking that elevator to the top floor. Celebrating or at the least justifying injuries to players, really?

  121. So much for that piece of crap PacMan Jones’ assertion that Brown was faking.
I saw PacMan Jones interviewed and he is completely brainless. He can’t even speak English without sounding stupid.
Jones should be thrown out of football, permanently. Let him and Burfict go back to the streets with the rest of the rats they came from.

  122. Patriots thought they were clever throwing a game to the jets to avoid the Steelers. How’d that work out Billy Boy? Now you have to play a healthy team!

Hate is one of man’s worst weakness and so is ignorance. Time to get to work on eliminating those qualities you possess in abundance.

You have no idea what any team would accept unless it’s the typing team.

  126. I would prefer a healthy Steelers team and possibly a Broncos loss than a Broncos win against a hobbled Steelers team. I realize that every team has injuries but the Steelers have some very key injuries to AB and BR. BR will probably play but I doubt that he will be at peak performance.

AB is almost a work of art with his play. He is amazing to watch, almost impossible to cover.

  127. tylereifertisunstoppable says:

Yeah, because he beat him so badly the two times they matched up this year. The only decent game AB had against Cincy was when Jones didn’t play, and we had Iloka also out of the secondary. Adam Jones will most certainly be on the Bengals and in the league. He was one of the top 10 DB’s in the league this year. Get your head out of the sand.
    —————
Jones had two tackles and 0 passes defensed in the WC game. Busy guy. Also, NFL dot com has him ranked at 68 on the season. He’s barely a top ten DB in the AFC North, according to the same source.
