Pacman Jones owes Antonio Brown an apology.
Brown, the Steelers’ All-Pro wide receiver, has been ruled out for Sunday’s playoff game against the Broncos.
Jones claimed that Brown was faking being hurt after he took a hit to the head from Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict in Saturday’s playoff game. Jones said he would apologize to Brown if Brown didn’t play on Sunday, so now Jones should apologize.
Brown suffered a concussion on the hit and has been in the concussion protocol all week. It appeared unlikely that he would play, as he wasn’t even cleared for light work yesterday.
The loss is a significant blow to the Steelers’ offense, as Brown is their biggest playmaker. Pittsburgh is also dealing with a Ben Roethlisberger shoulder injury and a DeAngelo Williams foot injury, so the Steelers’ offense is at much less than 100 percent as they head into Denver and face one of the league’s best defenses.
