The knee injury suffered by Broncos defensive back and punt returner Omar Bolden will end Bolden’s season, Broncos coach Gary Kubiak told reporters Monday.
The Broncos will place Bolden on injured reserve and decide over the next couple of days how to replace him on the roster.
Bolden had an MRI Monday but will not need surgery. The team feared he had suffered a significant injury.
Bolden was an impact player on special teams and the team’s top punt returner when healthy but missed seven games due to injury this season.
