After Eric Rogers led the Canadian Football League with 1,448 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns last year, he drew a lot of interest from the NFL. And now he’s heading to San Francisco.

Rogers is signing with the 49ers, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Rogers is getting a $125,000 signing bonus and another $100,000 in guaranteed salary. That’s the most lucrative guarantee for a player from the CFL since the Dolphins gave Cameron Wake a $1 million signing bonus in 2008.

The 6-foot-3, 210-pound Rogers looks like a good fit for 49ers coach Chip Kelly’s offense. The 49ers were one of 16 NFL teams that brought him in for a visit before he decided to sign.

Rogers grew up in Southern California and attended Cal Lutheran. After finishing his college career he briefly spent time with the Cowboys in 2013 before playing for the Portland Thunder in Arena football and then the Calgary Stampeders in the CFL.
