Carolina Panthers safety Roman Harper has an appointment in Santa Clara, California on Sunday evening and won’t be using his house for a few days.

So Harper is giving a chance to Panthers fans to come watch Super Bowl 50 from his own couch while he’s playing in the game Sunday night.

Harper posted his Charlotte house on AirBnB for $5,000 to provide the opportunity for a fan and guest to watch the Panthers play from his home. The peer-to-peer property rental service will match the $5,000 and the total sum will go to benefit Harper’s “Hope 41 Foundation.”

Kick back on my sofa while watching Super Bowl 50 on our 70 inch TV,” Harper wrote in the listing. “Upon arrival, feel free to check out our outdoor junior Olympic pool with an expansive deck and deluxe courtyard, or our 4,000 s.f. spa-inspired health club with yoga room and complimentary fitness classes. As evening approaches, prepare your football finest and take advantage of the kitchen -- it’s where I (and my mom) spend most of the time preparing for big games!”

Harper also said he’ll throw in a signed football for good measure.

It’s an interesting and unique opportunity to connect with the fan base as the Panthers get ready for their second Super Bowl in franchise history on Sunday.
