The police report from the incident involving former Broncos and Patriots running back Montee Ball and his girlfriend in Madison, Wisconsin says Ball hurled the woman through a hotel table during an argument.
Ball was arrested on Super Bowl weekend on a “tentative charge” of substantial battery. According to the report, the woman said Ball had arrived at the hotel intoxicated and she was “fearful for what might happen.”
Ball finished the 2015 season on the Patriots practice squad and was waived a few days after the incident. A second-round pick of the Broncos in 2013, Ball was cut by the Broncos before the 2015 season.
His NFL career may already have been over, but if these allegations are true it’s hard to imagine Ball getting signed.
