The Rams have turned to the college ranks to help fill their coaching staff.

According to Adam Caplan of ESPN, the Rams have hired Georgia tight ends coach John Lilly for the same position on Jeff Fisher’s staff.

Lilly also coached special teams for the Bulldogs, and took over as the interim offensive coordinator for their bowl game last season.

That responsibility fell to him after former Rams offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer left Georgia following the firing of head coach Mark Richt, showing once again how ridiculously interconnected the coaching business is.
