The Jaguars were in line to have the most cap space in the league when free agency opens next week and it looks like they’ll have a little more after parting ways with guard Zane Beadles.

Adam Caplan of ESPN reports that the Jaguars will release Beadles, who they signed to a five-year, $30 million contract before the 2014 season. Beadles has a cap number of $5.5 million for the coming season and the Jaguars will add that to their already large bounty of space when they go shopping this offseason.

Beadles was brought to Jacksonville in hopes of being a foundation piece for a better offensive line. He started all 32 games over the last two seasons, but didn’t play as well as he had in Denver and the Jaguars line continued to be a problem that they are expected to pay a lot of attention to this offseason.

Center Stefan Wisniewski is set to be an unrestricted free agent, leaving the interior of the line as a focal point for that attention.
