The Titans traded for running back DeMarco Murray on Wednesday in hopes that he can recover the form he had with the Cowboys in 2014.

When Murray was leading the league in rushing that year, he was working behind a strong offensive line that helped make his life much easier. That would suggest that his chances of bouncing back after an awful year in Philadelphia would improve if the Titans had the same kind of success up front.

The Titans made one move they hope will help their blocking by signing center Ben Jones on Wednesday and Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that they’ll be bringing guard Louis Vasquez in for a visit.

Vasquez was released by the Broncos earlier this week in a move that saved some money under the cap. He started 47 games for them over the last three seasons and adding him to the mix would likely provide an upgrade over the Chance Warmack/Quinton Spain combo that started at guard in Tennessee last season.
