After three days as a free agent, Titans nose tackle Al Woods will remain in Tennessee.
Woods signed a three-year deal, $10.5 million contract with the Titans, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. The deal includes $5 million guaranteed, and $2.25 million in playing time incentives that could raise his total take to $12.75 million.
After being primarily a backup for most of his career, Woods had his best NFL season last year, starting nine games for the Titans. Tennessee thinks he can remain a starter this year.
A 2010 fourth-round pick of the Saints, Woods bounced around the league from New Orleans to Pittsburgh to Tampa Bay to Seattle to Pittsburgh again before landing in Tennessee in 2014.
