The Seattle Seahawks are continuing to look for help along the offensive line.

According to Adam Caplan of ESPN.com, former Carolina Panthers guard Amini Silatolu visited the Seahawks on Tuesday.

Silatolu has battled injuries throughout his career after being a second round pick by Carolina in 2012. He’s finished the season on injured reserve in three of his four seasons in the NFL.

But despite the additions of Bradley Sowell and J’Marcus Webb along the offensive line already this week, the Seahawks could need additional help should Russell Okung sign elsewhere.

Even though Webb started 13 games for Oakland last season at right guard, the Seahawks listed him as a tackle in their announcement of his signing. Webb did play the final three games of the season at right tackle.

If Okung signs elsewhere, Seattle could theoretically look to move Garry Gilliam from right tackle to left tackle, put Webb at right tackle and look to Silatolu as a possibility to replace the departed J.R. Sweezy at right guard.

That’s before any additions Seattle would make through the draft and depends on the health of Silatolu, whose season ended in November due to a torn ACL.
