The early indications were that the Seahawks weren’t going to bring back backup quarterback Tarvaris Jackson.
But after nearly a month of free agency has gone past, they’re still without one, and may like to bring the familiar face back.
“We really liked his contributions and he’s been a big factor for us and we would like to have him back if we could,’’ Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said.
Jackson has backed up Russell Wilson the last three seasons, but last offseason, it took until June for him to get his annual one-year deal. There’s only one other non-Wilson quarterback on the roster, Phillip Sims, so they need to fill that line on the depth chart in eventually.
But as they’ve shown in the past, they’re also willing to wait to get the right deal.
