Chargers add another quarterback, sign Bryn Renner

Renner

If the people of San Diego need any more reason to vote for public funding to keep the team, now they have Bryn Renner.

OK, maybe the Chargers just needed a fourth quarterback for OTAs.

According to Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune, the Chargers are signing Renner after he worked out for the team today.

He’ll give them another arm behind Philip Rivers, Kellen Clemens and Brad Sorensen.

Renner spent time on the Ravens and Titans practice squads last year, and went to camp with the Broncos in 2014. He was undrafted after three years as a starter at North Carolina, and has also spent some time in the Arena League.
