Most of the big free agents have already signed, but the Patriots can still pull off something Biggers.

According to Ben Volin of the Boston Globe, the Patriots signed former Eagles cornerback E.J. Biggers to a one-year deal.

Biggers has also played for Washington and Tampa Bay, perhaps playing his best football under Bill Belichick-pal Greg Schiano in Tampa in 2012.

But he has the requisite versatility, having playing outside, in the slot and even some safety, and gives the Patriots another veteran who will add depth and help on special teams.
