Colts add tight end Mike McFarland

The Indianapolis Colts announced Wednesday the signing of former Houston Texans tight end Mike McFarland.

The team also released tackle Pierce Burton.

McFarland signed with the Texans as an undrafted free agent last season and remained with the team into training camp until he was placed on injured reserve. He then reached and settlement and was released from IR in October.

Burton was a late season addition to the Colts practice squad and was re-signed to a futures contract in January. He also spent time with the Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Falcons last season.

  1. Colts need to tank another season for the #1 pick again. It worked out well with “Suck for Luck”.

Maybe you can hang a participation banner for your owners 12 step program.

Isn’t it time you cried to the league to get another rule changed?

  2. Text book Grigson. Making a splash. Don’t forget to flush.
