The Seahawks have announced a reunion with veteran pass rusher Chris Clemons.
Cut by the Jaguars last month after two years, Clemons returns to the Seahawks, with whom he played from 2010-13 and won a Super Bowl.
Clemons, 34, is a veteran of 13 NFL seasons. He had 11 sacks in two years with the Jaguars, who signed him to a four-year, $17.5 million contract in 2014 after he was released by the Seahawks for salary-cap reasons.
The Seahawks probably see Clemons as a part-time player and pass rusher who should get rotational snaps. The Seahawks lost pass rusher Bruce Irvin to the Raiders early in free agency.
