Hours after he said goodbye to the Giants, Markus Kuhn said hello to the Patriots.

Kuhn posted a picture of himself signing with New England on Instagram this afternoon.

A 6-foot-4, 303-pound defensive tackle, Kuhn has spent his entire four-year career with the Giants, who selected him in the seventh-round of the 2012 NFL draft. Last year he played in 10 games, starting nine.

The Patriots have used their last two first-round draft picks on defensive tackles, Dominique Easley and Malcom Brown, and they hope to see Easley and Brown serve as the starters for years to come, with Kuhn providing value as a veteran backup.
