Free agent defensive end Jason Jones visited the Dolphins Friday, a league source told PFT.
The Dolphins showed interest in Jones early in the free agency period last month. Jones also visited the Cowboys in late March.
Jones, 29, spent the last three seasons with the Lions. He’s played multiple positions across the defensive line in his eight-year career, which started when the Titans picked him in the second round in 2008.
Jones started 31 games over the last two seasons for the Lions and had 9.5 sacks during that time.
