Titans rookies reported for work Monday, and most of their draft picks had contracts before they started.

Via Jim Wyatt of the team’s official website, six of their 10 draft picks agreed to contracts Monday, including second-round running back Derrick Henry.

The Titans have also agreed with second-round defensive lineman Austin Johnson, fifth-round receiver Tajae Sharpe and cornerback LeShaun Sims and seventh-round linebacker Aaron Wallace and cornerback Kalan Reed.

Henry became the Titans’ second straight Heisman Trophy winner (following Marcus Mariota), but will go into the season as DeMarco Murray’s backup.

The Titans want to run the ball in coach Mike Mularkey’s “exotic smashmouth” offense, and having a guy who ran for 2,219 yards and 28 touchdowns last year should help those efforts.
