Report: Aqib Talib told cops he was too drunk to know who shot him

If police were unclear about who fired the shot that ended up going through Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib’s leg, then they gained no clarity from talking to him.

According to Rebecca Lopez of WFAA, Talib told police he was at a park (not a strip club) and that he couldn’t recall much about the incident.

“Everything was a blur and I was too intoxicated to remember what happened,” Talib reportedly told the Dallas Police Department.

Well, that’s one way around the speculation that he might know the culprit.

But it does nothing to make this story any less bizarre, on a day when the rest of the Broncos are at the White House being congratulated for winning the Super Bowl.
