The Patriots have their entire draft class under contract.

Ben Volin of the Boston Globe reported Thursday morning that third-round quarterback Jacoby Brissett has signed a four-year deal with the team. The Patriots signed their other eight draft picks last month.

Signing draft picks has become a much easier process since the 2011 CBA, although there’s more room for third-round picks to negotiate with their new teams and picks from that round have signed more slowly than others as a result. Brissett also opted to go without an agent while working out his first pro contract.

Brissett is behind Tom Brady and Jimmy Garoppolo on the team’s depth chart at quarterback, although he could be the No. 2 to open the season if Brady’s four-game suspension remains in effect as his legal wrangling with the league unfolds in the coming months.
