Longtime Bengals cornerback Leon Hall has been a free agent all offseason and hasn’t signed anywhere yet, but that could change soon.

Hall may sign with a team next week, Mike Jurecki of 910 AM in Phoenix reports. The Cardinals have interest in his services.

Other teams that have shown interest in Hall include the Falcons, Giants and Cowboys.

The 31-year-old Hall has played his entire nine-year career with the Bengals. Last year he played in 14 games, starting four. Hall is recovering from offseason back surgery but he’s expected to be good to go this season.

  1. It’d be a good fit, him and Arians can both lament on how Tomlin decided to pass on them.

  2. He’s a good CB, and I wouldn’t mind seeing him back with the Bengals at all. The two questions on him are injury and pay, though, and the former influences the latter pretty heavily. I wonder if money is why he isn’t back with the Bengals. You can never have enough CBs, after all.

  3. In a related story, I am also looking to sign with a team soon. All I am waiting on is a contract, a try out, a phone call, or even some indication that the NFL knows I exist.
