Colts owner Jim Irsay will have a big role in Canton next month.
Irsay revealed on Twitter that Harrison has asked him to present him for induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
The Hall of Fame used to allow each enshrinee to choose one player to deliver a speech on his behalf. But as the speakers droned on and on and the induction ceremonies got longer and longer, the Hall of Fame has changed things to introduce enshrinees with pre-taped video messages. So Irsay won’t be on a live mic.
The induction ceremony, which will also include former Colts coach Tony Dungy, takes place on August 6.
