Preliminary reports from a biopsy Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly had Thursday show no signs of cancer, Kelly’s wife posted on Instagram Thursday.
Kelly’s wife, Jill, had previously posted an update that said his most recent scan was inconclusive about the possible presence of cancer.
Jim Kelly had surgery in 2013 to remove cancer from his jaw. He’d gone more than 18 months without signs of cancer since his treatment.
Late last month, Kelly said he was feeling “awesome” and that he was at his “playing weight” of 230.
