Report: Cardinals adding veteran CB Ball

AP

Veteran cornerback Alan Ball will sign with the Cardinals, Kent Somers of AZCentral.com reported.

Ball worked out for the Cardinals Thursday. He played in 15 games for the Bears last season, starting three, and has played in 108 games over his nine-year career.

Ball, 31, broke into the league as a seventh-round pick of the Cowboys in 2007. He’s also played for the Texans and Jaguars.

He’s played both cornerback spots and safety and has six career interceptions.

  1. Don’t know a whole lot about Ball. I was kind of hoping that they would’ve signed Leon Hall though. Keim and Arians know more about this stuff than me though, I sell cars for a living…
