The Eagles took care of a number of their own players this offseason, but it appears one of them won’t be able to take care of them for a large number of games.

According to Philadelphia radio personality Darren DeGaetano, Eagles tackle Lane Johnson is facing a 10-game suspension for violating the league’s performance-enhancing substance policy. The report has been confirmed by NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, who pointed out that Johnson is appealing.

The left tackle was previously hit with a four-game PED suspension in 2014.

That didn’t stop them from giving him a six-year contract this offseason, tying him to the team through 2021. But if he doesn’t win an appeal, the guarantees in that deal would void.

UPDATE 2:15 p.m. ET: Lane Johnson has texted multiple Eagles reporters in the last few moments, saying “nothing is going on,” which is ostensibly a denial.
