Stevan Ridley’s time with the Colts was short.
The Colts released the veteran running back Saturday, NFL Network reported, ending what was essentially a tryout period of less than a week.
Ridley, who was cut by the Lions last month, had a 1,263-yard rushing season with the Patriots in 2012 but never recaptured that form. He played in nine games, starting one, for the Jets last season.
