The Ravens exposed sixth-round pick Keenan Reynolds to waivers by dropping him from their 53-man roster on Saturday, but no other teams wanted to add the former Navy star to what they already had on hand.
That left Reynolds free to return to the Ravens as a member of their practice squad, which is just what he did on Sunday. The Ravens announced that Reynolds is one of eight players who spent the preseason with the team and returned for a spot on the auxillary roster.
Reynolds is making the transition from quarterback to wide receiver, so the time in practice should be beneficial to that effort. He also saw some time as a kick returner, but the Ravens have opted to go with veteran Devin Hester.
Tight end Daniel Brown, defensive end Kapron Lewis-Moore, linebacker Brennan Beyer, tackle Blaine Clausell, center Matt Skura, linebacker Patrick Onwuassor and running back Stephen Houston are the other players on the practice squad.
