Word out of Baltimore after the cut to 53 players was that kick returner Devin Hester might be joining the Ravens in the coming days.
Sunday morning brings word that he’s on his way. According to multiple reports, Hester has agreed to a one-year deal with the team.
Hester was released by the Falcons earlier this year after missing most of last season with a toe injury that continued to plague him into the offseason. He said he hoped to find a new home once he was 100 percent and it would appear the Ravens believe he is after working him out last week.
Hester’s arrival will make one member of the Ravens a lot less happy than he was when the roster was set on Saturday, something that will be happening to a lot of other players as well as one team’s trash becomes another’s treasure on the waiver wire.
