Texans linebacker Brian Cushing was carted off the field in the first quarter of today’s game against the Bears.

Cushing appeared to be in pain and was wearing a look on his face that suggested he thought he had suffered a severe knee injury, although the immediate word was only that he is questionable to return.

Cushing has a history of knee injuries; his 2012 season was cut short by a torn ACL. Last year he was healthy enough to start all 16 games.
