The Cardinals suffered injuries on Sunday to running back Chris Johnson and quarterback Carson Palmer.

Palmer has a concussion; Johnson has a groin injury. Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Johnson will have an MRI on Monday.

The injuries have happened on the Sunday before the team’s only short-week game of the year, at San Francisco. That will make it harder for Palmer or Johnson to be ready to go. Which will make it harder for the Cardinals to snap out of a 1-3 funk.
