As expected, the Giants are without running back Rashad Jennings for Monday night’s game in Minnesota.

Jennings had been listed as questionable for the game but prior reports said he wouldn’t play. Rookie cornerback Eli Apple, who’d been listed as doubtful, is inactive but cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie will play after being listed as questionable.

The Giants are shorthanded at both safety and cornerback. Among the four players previously listed as out are safeties Darian Thompson and Nat Berhe. The Giants had also previously listed offensive tackle Marshall Newhouse and defensive tackle Robert Thomas as out.

Vikings first-round wide receiver Laquon Treadwell, who has not yet made a reception, is active. Wide receiver Jarius Wright is not.

Also inactive for the Vikings are running back Ronnie Hillman, linebacker Kentrell Brothers, center Nick Easton, guard Willie Beavers, defensive tackle Sharif Floyd and tight end David Morgan.
