When the Texans placed defensive lineman Devon Still on injured reserve earlier in the day, the nature of his injury wasn’t known. It now is, and he’s already had a procedure performed on the injured part.
Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Still had foot surgery on Wednesday.
Still is out indefinitely. He can return in eight weeks as the once-per-year designee by the Texans who can be brought back from IR.
The 3-1 Texans face the 4-0 Vikings on Sunday in Minnesota.
