Free agent running back Justin Forsett may soon find his new NFL home.

Forsett will visit the Lions on Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The Lions are in need of a new running back after putting their starter, Ameer Abdullah, on injured reserve. Rookie running back Dwayne Washington is also injured, so the Lions are getting thin at the position.

Forsett was cut by the Ravens last week. He started the first three games of the season in Baltimore but managed just 98 yards on 31 carries. Forsett has had some good years, most notably his 1,266-yard season in 2014, but he turns 31 next week and doesn’t appear to have a lot left.
