Jets wide receiver Eric Decker will have season-ending surgery. The Jets placed him on their injured-reserve list Wednesday morning.

Decker has been out with a partially torn rotator cuff suffered in late September.

Decker has had at least 74 catches in each of the last four seasons, and his loss is a significant one for a struggling Jets team that sits at 1-4.

The Jets claimed wide receiver Jeremy Butler on Tuesday. Second-year wide receiver Devin Smith remains on PUP while recovering from a torn ACL suffered late last season.
