The San Diego Chargers are landing jabs against the Denver Broncos but have been unable to land a knockout blow.

Given their track record of blowing fourth quarter leads, that could become a problem.

The Chargers have been the beneficiaries of great field position throughout the third quarter as Josh Lambo has added field goals of 21, 31 and 32 yards to give San Diego a 19-3 lead over Denver. However, it was three straight drives into the Broncos’ red zone that failed to result in touchdowns.

However, Denver is missing opportunities of their own. The Broncos offense has struggled mightily. They’ve managed just 129 total yards of offense through three quarters and have been unable to find a rhythm. Brandon McManus missed a 56-yard field goal late in the quarter that would have closed the deficit.
