Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters leads the NFL with four interceptions. Raiders quarterback Derek Carr knows that well.

Carr said today that as he prepares to face Peters on Sunday, he’s doing it with the knowledge that Peters is as good as some receivers at going up, getting his hands on the ball and coming down with it.

“He’s aggressive, a playmaker, great hands, great ball skills as a DB. Any time a corner has great ball skills you have to be careful with those 50-50 chance balls. You’ve got to be careful in that aspect,” Carr said.

Peters intercepted Carr once last year and played very well against the Raiders, having success against both Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree in coverage. The Raiders may be looking to throw to the other side of the field on Sunday.
